1. Easy Pork Belly Samgyeopsal
Ingredients:
- 0.5 kg Pork Shoulder
- 2 tbsp MAGGI® Savor Hot Chili
- 0.25 tsp Ground Pepper
- 2 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Kimchi
- 2 heads Lettuce
- 2 tbsp Chili Paste
- 0.5 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
Procedure:
- Season pork with MAGGI® Magic Sarap®, MAGGI® Savor Hot Chili, pepper, sesame oil and sugar.
- Preheat a clean grill. Grill for 2 mins per side.
- Serve with kimchi, lettuce and gochujang.
2. Shrimp Tempura
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Vegetable Oil
- ½ kg Shrimp, Peeled, Deveined and Stretched for Tempura
- 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
- ½ sachet 8g MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
Batter:
- ½ cup Cornstarch
- ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 pc Large Egg
- ¾ cup Iced Water
Dipping Sauce
- ¾ cup Water
- ½ sachet 8g MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
- 1 MAGGI® Oyster Sauce
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Grated Ginger
- 1 tbsp Grated Radish
Procedure:
- Preheat oil in a large pan over medium high heat.
- Season shrimp with 1⁄2 sachet of MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Set aside.
- Prepare batter by sifting cornstarch and flour in a large bowl. Stir in egg and ice water using chopsticks until just mixed but still lumpy.
- Coat 5 shrimps lightly with flour at a time, dip in batter and carefully drop in preheated oil. Drizzle some of the batter to coat shrimps. Fry until light golden brown. Strain and set aside in a cooling rack. Repeat with the rest of the shrimps.
- To prepare dipping sauce, combine water, 1⁄2 sachet of MAGGI® Magic Sarap®, MAGGI® Oyster Sauce, sugar and ginger in a pan. Simmer for 1min. Turn off heat and mix in grated radish.
- Serve freshly cooked tempura with the dipping sauce.
3. Chicken Teriyaki
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 pc Ginger
- 1 pc Onion
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- ½ cup Water
- 3 tbsp MAGGI® Oyster Sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- ½ kg Chicken Thigh
- ½ sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 tbsp Spring Onion
- 1 tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
Procedure:
- Sauté garlic, ginger and onion in oil. Add mirin, sugar, water, MAGGI® Oyster Sauce and sesame oil. Simmer until slightly thick. Strain and set aside.
- Season chicken with 1⁄2 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap® and coat half of the teriyaki sauce. Marinate for 30mins.
- Preheat a clean grill and brush with oil. Grill salmon for 2mins. per side.
- Place chicken on top of rice, pour sauce on top and garnish with spring onion and sesame seeds.
4. Creamy Chicken Curry
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ kg Chicken Leg
- 2.5 sachets MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
- 4 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 head Garlic
- 1 pc Onion
- 1 pc Potato
- 1 pc Carrot
- 1 pc Red Bell Pepper
- 1 pc Green Bell Pepper
- 1 tbsp Curry Powder
- ½ tsp Ground Pepper
- 1 pc Bay Leaf
- 2 cups Water
- 1 package NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream
Procedure:
- Season chicken with 2 sachets of MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®.
- Sauté garlic, onion, potato, carrot, and chicken in oil.
- Add bell peppers, curry powder, pepper, and bay leaf. Pour water and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Season with remaining 1⁄2 sachet of MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP® and stir in NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream. Transfer on a serving plate and serve.
6. Korean Beef Stew
Ingredients:
- 1 kg Beef Back Rib
- 1 pc Onion
- 0.5 cup MAGGI® Oyster Sauce
- 1 L Water
- 4 tbsp Sweet Chili Sauce
- 0.25 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 sachets MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
- 1 pc Onion Springs
- 3 pcs Red And Green Chili
Procedure:
- Tenderize beef with onion and 1⁄4 cup MAGGI® Oyster Sauce in water. If using a pressure cooker, cook for 40 minutes after the pressure cooker starts to whistle. If not, tenderize beef over low heat for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Adding more water if necessary.
- When beef is tender and sauce is reduced, season with sweet chili sauce,
- Top with spring onion and sesame seeds before serving. Serve with sautéed bean sprouts on the side.
