Pagkatapos ng nakabubusog na Christmas celebration, minsan ‘di maiiwasan na may sobra mula sa Noche Buena. Pero ‘wag kayong mag-alala! Mapa-lechon, kanin, o keso de bola man, basta’t may diskarte ay kayang gawing bagong ulam. Ang leftovers nung Pasko, magiging bida ng salu-salo!
Sa tulong nitong mga kusina hacks mula sa MAGGI®, magiging mas Magical ang mga leftover recipes. Kahit tapos na ang Pasko, tuloy pa rin ang magic nito basta’t kasalo ang pamilya mo!
1. BBQ Fried Rice
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 pc Onion
- 8 oz Pork Leg
- 4 cups Cooked Rice
- 2 pcs Egg
- 1 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
- ½ cup Carrot
- 1 cup Lettuce
- 2 tbsp Onion Springs
Procedure:
- Sauté garlic, onion and BBQ in oil.
- Add rice and cook for 2 minutes.
- Make a well in the center and pour beaten eggs. Stir and cook until barely set. Stir in with the rice.
- Season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Fluff until steaming hot. Stir in carrot, lettuce and spring onion. Transfer on a serving plate and serve.
2. Mac and Keso De Bola with Ham
Ingredients:
- ¼ kg Pasta
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 cup Ham
- 1 cup Water
- 1 package 250ml NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream
- 1 cup Keso De Bola
- 1 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
Procedure:
- Boil pasta according to package direction.
- Sauté garlic and ham in butter. Pour water and NESTLE® All Purpose Cream.
- Stir in cheese and season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap®.
- Drain pasta and toss in the sauce. Transfer on a serving plate and serve.
3. Binagoongang Lechon
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Vegetable Oil
- 3 pcs Eggplant
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 pc Onion
- 2 pcs Tomato
- 2 pcs Siling Panigang
- 3 tbsp Bagoong Alamang
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- ½ kg Lechon
- 1 cup Water
- 1 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 package NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream
Procedure:
- Fry eggplant in oil until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Remove oil from the pan leaving 2tbsp. Sauté garlic, onion, tomato, siling panigang and bagoong. Pour vinegar. Add lechon and cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour water, simmer and season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap® and sugar.
- Stir in NESTLE® All Purpose Cream and simmer for 2 minutes. Transfer on a serving plate and serve.
4. Pinakbet with Lechon
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Lechon
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 pc Onion
- 2 pcs Tomato
- 1 tbsp Bagoong Alamang
- 1 ½ cups Water
- 1 cup Kalabasa
- ½ cup Okra
- ½ cup Sitaw
- ½ cup Ampalaya
- 1 cup Eggplant
- 1 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
Procedure:
- Sauté garlic, onion, tomato and bagoong in the same pan. Add lechon and cook for 2mins. Pour water and simmer for 5 mins.
- Add kalabasa, okra and sitaw in 2-mins intervals. Add ampalaya, eggplant and lechon and simmer for 5 mins.
- Season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Transfer on a serving plate and serve.
5. Lechon Fried Rice
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 cup Lechon
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 pc Onion
- 2 pcs Tomato
- 0.5 cup Carrot
- 4 cups Cooked Rice
- 2 pcs Egg
- 1 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
- 2 tbsp Lechon Sarsa
- 2 tbsp Spring Onion
Procedure:
- Sauté lechon in oil until golden brown. Strain and set aside.
- Sauté garlic, onion, tomato and carrot in the same oil. Add rice and cook for 2 minutes.
- Make a well in the center and pour beaten eggs. Stir and cook until barely set. Stir in with the rice.
- Season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap® and add leftover lechon sauce. Fluff until steaming hot. Stir in spring onion. Transfer on a serving plate, top with lechon and serve.
6. Paksiw na Lechon
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 6 cloves Garlic
- 1 pc Onion
- 0.75 kg Lechon
- 1 pc Bay Leaf
- 0.25 cup White Vinegar
- 2 cups Water
- 0.75 cup Lechon Sarsa
- 1 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
- 0.25 tsp Ground Pepper
- 0.25 cup Brown Sugar
Procedure:
- Sauté garlic, onion, lechon, and bay leaf in oil.
- Pour vinegar, water, and sarsa ng lechon. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap®, pepper and sugar. Transfer into a serving plate and serve.
