1. Lechon Pork Belly
Ingredients:
1.5 kg Pork Belly
3 sachets MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
0.5 tsp Ground Pepper
1 pc Onion
1 heads Garlic
4 stalks Scallion
2 stalks Lemongrass
0.25 cup MAGGI® Oyster Sauce
2 tbsp Spiced Vinegar
0.5 cup Spiced Vinegar
3 tbsp Soy Sauce
3 cloves Garlic
2 pcs Onion
1 pc Hot Chili Peppers
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
Procedure:
- Season the flesh side of pork with 2 sachets of MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP® and pepper. Add onion, garlic, scallions, lemongrass and MAGGI® Oyster Sauce. Marinate overnight.
- Place aromatics in the center of the pork and tie into a roll using a butcher’s twine. Simmer in water until tender. Remove and set aside to cool. Brush the skin with vinegar, season with remaining 1 sachet of MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP® and set aside.
- For the dip, combine vinegar, MAGGI Soy, garlic, onion, chili, pepper and sugar in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
- Preheat oil and deep fry pork until golden brown. Set aside. Remove butcher’s twine and cut into serving pieces. Transfer on a serving plate and serve with sauce.
2. Pork Hamonado
Ingredients:
0.5 kg Pork Shoulder
1 cup Pineapple Juice
1 sachet MAGGI® Oyster Sauce 30g
1 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
1 pc Bay Leaf
1 can Pineapple Rings
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 tbsp Spring Onion
Procedure:
- Combine pork, pineapple juice, MAGGI® Oyster Sauce, MAGGI® Magic Sarap®, bay leaf and syrup from the canned pineapple in a pot. Pour enough water to barely cover the pork. Cover, bring to a simmer and cook for 45 minutes.
- Remove pork and set aside to cool. Reserve cooking liquid.
- For the dip, combine vinegar, MAGGI Soy, garlic, onion, chili, pepper and sugar in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
- Slice pork ½-inch thick and sauté in the same pan until golden brown. Pour cooking liquid and simmer for 5 mins.
- Transfer pork and sautéed pineapple on a serving plate. Pour sauce on top, sprinkle spring onion and serve.
3. Lumpiang Shanghai
Ingredients:
0.5 kg GroundPork
1 pc Onion
1 pc Carrot
1 sachet MAGGI® Oyster Sauce
1 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
20 Lumpia Wrapper
1 cup Vegetable Oil
1 cup Water
2 tbsp MAGGI® Oyster Sauce
4 cloves Garlic
1 pc Red And Green Chili
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
0.25 tsp Freshly Ground Pepper
1 tbsp Cornstarch
Procedure:
- Combine ground pork, onion, carrot, MAGGI® Oyster Sauce and ½ sachet of MAGGI Magic Sarap®. Mix well. Assemble 1 – 1½ tbsp per lumpia wrapper.
- Preheat oil and fry lumpia until golden brown. Transfer on the cooling rack to drain excess oil.
- To prepare the dipping sauce, mix water with MAGGI® Oyster Sauce, ½ sachet of MAGGI Magic Sarap®, garlic, chili, sugar and pepper. Bring to simmer.
- Stir in cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce. Transfer into a serving bowl. Serve with freshly cooked Lumpiang Shanghai.
4. Creamy Carbonara
Ingredients:
0.5 kg Spaghetti
2 tbsp Vegetable oil
0.5 cup Chopped Bacon
6 cloves Garlic
1 cup Water
1 package NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream, 250mL
4 tbsp Grated Cheese
1 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
0.15 tsp Ground Pepper
Procedure:
- Boil pasta according to package direction.
- Cook bacon in a pan to render fat. Strain bacon bits and set aside.
- Sauté garlic in the same pan. Pour water and Nestlé® All Purpose Cream. Stir in cheese and simmer. Season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap®.
- Strain spaghetti and toss in the sauce. Transfer on a serving plate and garnish with bacon bits. Serve immediately.
5. Chicken Pastel
Ingredients:
1 kg Chicken Thigh And Leg
2 sachets MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
3 tbsp Butter
1 head Garlic, Minced
1 piece Large Onion, Chopped
1 piece Potato, Diced
1 piece Small Carrot, Diced
1 piece Chorizo Bilbao, Sliced
2 tbsp All Purpose Flour
2 cups Water
¼ cup NESTLÉ® Carnation® Evap
12 pieces Quail Eggs, Boiled And Peeled
¼ cup Frozen Green Peas
Procedure:
- Season chicken with 1 sachet of MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Lightly sauté chicken in butter. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté garlic, onion, potato, carrot, chorizo and mushroom in the same pan.
- Add flour and cook for 2 minutes while stirring. Pour water and bring to a simmer. Add chicken and cook for 15 minutes.
- Season with remaining 1 sachet of MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Stir in NESTLÉ® Carnation® Evap, quail eggs and green peas. Transfer on a serving plate and serve.
