If the quantities are increased, the cooking time may be extended, so look again. Use water & spices sparingly at first and add more later if needed.
Season beef with 1 sachet of 8g MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Preheat a braising pot and pour oil. Sear the beef on all sides. Remove and set aside.
Add onion, carrot, celery and garlic in the same pot. Cook for 5 minutes. Add tomato paste and continue to cook for another 2 minutes. Place back beef and pour water.
Bring to a boil, skim the scum, add bay leaves and peppercorn and simmer while covered for 2 hours or until tender. Remove beef to rest and strain beef broth. Reserve 3 cups of broth.
Sauté mushroom in butter for 2 minutes. Add flour and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in reserved beef broth. Simmer until slightly thick. Season with 1 sachet of 8g MAGGI® Magic Sarap® and MAGGI® Savor. Stir in NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream and half of the parsley in to the sauce.
Cut beef into ¼-inch thick slices. Transfer on a serving plate and pour sauce. Top with remaining parsley and serve warm.
