If the quantities are increased, the cooking time may be extended, so look again. Use water & spices sparingly at first and add more later if needed.
Season beef with 1 sachet of MAGGI Magic Sarap and pepper. Sauté beef in vegetable oil in a pan over high heat until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Add onion, carrot, celery and garlic in the same pan. Sauté for 2 mins.
Add tomato paste and cook for 2 mins.
Add sautéed beef and water. Bring to a boil and skim off the scum. Add thyme, rosemary, chili powder, bay leaves and worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer for 2hrs or until very tender. Skimm off fat as needed.
Carefully removed beef and set aside. Strain both and set aside.
Melt butter in a pan. Add flour and cook for 1min. Gradually stir in strained broth. Season with remaining sachet of MAGGI Magic Sarap.
Add potato and carrot and simmer for another 20 mins.
Add broccoli and simmer for 1min.
Transfer beef and vegetables on a large deep dish plate. Pour sauce on top.
Gently heat Nestlé All Purpose Cream and drizzle on top. Serve hot with baguette.
