If the quantities are increased, the cooking time may be extended, so look again. Use water & spices sparingly at first and add more later if needed.
Simmer chicken in water. Set aside the chicken and reserve the broth. Shred chicken.
Combine oil and annatto seeds and heat for 5 mins. Strain. Sauté garlic and onion in annatto oil.
Pour broth and simmer. Season with 8g MAGGI® Magic Sarap®, fish sauce and pepper. Add sotanghon and cook for 5 mins.
Add carrots, cabbage and chicken. Cook for another minute. Transfer into a serving bowl. Top with toasted garlic and spring onion and serve.
