  • 1 tbsp black peppercorn
  • 1 ½ kg beef tongue, blanched twice
  • 1 pc large onion, quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 head garlic, crushed
  • 4 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 2 sachets 8g MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 cup canned sliced mushroom
  • 2 pcs bay leaves
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • ½ cup NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream
Step 1
Simmer beef tongue in water for 1 hour. Add garlic, onion, bay leaf and peppercorn. Simmer until tender. Strain and set aside to cool. Strain stock and reserve for sauce.

Sauté garlic and mushroom in butter. Add flour. Stir in 4 cups of reserved stock and simmer. Simmer until thick..
Step 3
Remove skin of the tongue and slice. Add to the sauce and season with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP® and soy sauce. Turn off heat and stir in Nestlé All Purpose Cream and parsley. Transfer on a serving plate and serve.
