Nestle Recipe
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ¼ cup grated ginger, squeezed and reserve juice
  • ½ kg skinless pork belly, cut into pieces
  • 1 sachet 8g MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
  • 1 tsp five spice powder
  • ¼ cup spiced vinegar
  • 1 tsp meat tenderizer
  • 2 pcs red and green chili, seeded and sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 pc egg, beaten
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 4 cups vegetable oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
Step 1
Marinate pork with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®, meat tenderizer, five spice powder, ginger juice, soy sauce and sesame oil overnight in the refrigerator.
Step 2
Coat pork with beaten egg and cornstarch. Fry pork in preheated oil until golden brown. Set aside to drain excess oil.
Step 3
Remove oil leaving 1 tbsp in the pan. Sauté garlic and chilies. Add pork and coat well. Transfer on a serving plate and serve with spiced vinegar.
