Nestle Recipe
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • ½ kg chicken leg and thigh
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 pc star anise
  • 1 sachet 8g MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
Step 1
Season chicken with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP® and pepper. Sauté in oil. Remove and set aside.
Step 2
Add garlic, cinnamon powder, star anise, vinegar, soy sauce, honey and pineapple juice. Bring to simmer.
Step 3
Add chicken and simmer for 20 minutes. Let the sauce reduce to glaze consistency. Coat the chicken well with the glaze, transfer into a serving plate and serve.
