If the quantities are increased, the cooking time may be extended, so look again. Use water & spices sparingly at first and add more later if needed.
Fry potato in preheated oil until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Sauté onion on the same pan. Strain and set aside.
Season tanigue with MAGGI® Magic Sarap® and coat well with flour. Fry in the same oil until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Remove oil from the pan leaving 2tbsp. Sauté garlic until light golden brown. Pour water and simmer. Add MAGGI® Oyster Sauce, calamansi juice, sugar and pepper. Add back fried tanigue and potato and simmer for 2mins.
Transfer on a serving plate, top with sautéed onion, spring onion and toasted garlic. Serve immediately.
